Conveyancing ServicesFor the sale or purchase of a freehold house with Registered Legal Title, our usual charge is just £425, plus VAT, if the price is less than £250,000. This price excludes Disbursements, which is the amount we have to lay out on your behalf to others in connection with the transaction. On Purchases Land Registry Fees and Stamp Duty are payable on a fixed scale. Other expenses on Purchases include local searches (fees vary nationally, usually £130 - £170) and Post and Bank charges (total approx £75, including VAT). Most disbursements are not subject to VAT. We will be pleased to supply you with an individual breakdown of these disbursements, as they tend to vary with each matter. Prices are estimated here for houses up to £250,000. Please enquire for properties over this amount.
